Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This policy explains what Agile Development Institute (“ADI”, “we”, “us”), of Durham, North Carolina, collects when you use agiledevelopmentinstitute.com, and what we do with it. Questions go to training@agiledevelopmentinstitute.com.
2. What we collect, and why

We don’t ask for your date of birth, home address, or any government ID.
3. What we don't do
- We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
- We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We only email you about things you signed up for or bought (see section 6).
4. Your credential is public on purpose
When you earn a micro-credential, it gets a page showing your name, the course, the level, the date and your score. That page is how an employer or client checks that your credential is real. It can be found by its credential ID or link, not by searching your name on our site. If you’d like a credential page taken down, email us.
5. Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of trusted companies, and only for the job each one does:
- Stripe processes card payments.
- Hostinger hosts the website and database, and sends our email.
- Cloudflare manages our domain’s settings.
Each of them handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.
6. Emails
- About something you bought: your course link, receipt and anything about your purchase. These always come through.
- About something you signed up for: for example, a waitlist confirmation and the “enrollment is open” email. Every one of these has an Unsubscribe link that works with one click.
7. How long we keep it
- Orders and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Course progress and credentials: kept for as long as the course is offered, so your link and credential keep working.
- Waitlist and mailing-list addresses: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
8. Your choices
You can email training@agiledevelopmentinstitute.com at any time to:
- get a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct it
- have it deleted, except for records we must keep for tax purposes
- take down a credential page
We’ll reply within 30 days.
9. Keeping it safe
The site uses an encrypted connection (https). Card details never touch our servers. Access to our systems is limited to the people who run ADI. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care, and we’ll tell you if a problem ever affects your information.
10. Children
The site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If we make an important change, such as a new use of your information, we’ll say so on the site or by email.
